I installed the update to 0.88.6 this evening, and installed it to D:, instead of C:, where it was installed before.
I then opened clamwin by double-clicking the system tray icon. I clicked the 'Memory Scan' icon, and it popped
up with a path to the old executable, along with the error message that the "--kill" option was unrecognized.
I uninstalled and reinstalled to the C: drive, and was able to run the memory scan.
Thanks,
Chris Rhodes

yes that is correct. Upgrading to a different location will not change your config file and that is by design. It is hard to tell for the installer which settyings youwould like to keep and which not.
If you want to change the installation folder you need to uninstall ClamWin first and then install it to the new folder.
