hmm, that is odd.
You can inspect the report file - it will have the original location of the quarantined file and then manually restore them back. |

Thanks for your reply. ![]() Yes, I've tried to do that...I read it on another thread here. I tried it with a dll file, but when I try the program that said it's lacking it, it still doesn't work. It says the dll file is in the wrong format. Guess I'll just go back to paving the road to Hell with good intentions, lol. |

Did you use the latest stable version of ClamWin? See if the computer has GoBack or some similar system restoration software. Then, if you've tried everything, as a last resort, reinstall Win 98 and then delete ClamWin and the items in the quarrantine folder. Don't run ClamWin again, as it obviously doesn't work correctly on that computer, which, as Alch says, is certainly odd. I'm running Win 98 myself and have never had any problems with ClamWin--not even any false positives.
Use the free version of AVG. I used it for several months without any problems. Regards, |
