ClamWin can not protect screens unless there is a malware file on your computer that contains the screen image and shows it. If you do a manual memory scan, then it will delete the malware file if there is a virus signature for it in the ClamWin virus database. It will not scan by itself. It also does not have as many virus signatures in the database as other AVs do.
I think you need a real-time AV. ClamWin does not scan all the time. It only scans when you schedule a scan or when you do a manual scan. You should probably use another AV like Windows Defender, which is free. Other good free AVs are Avira, Bit Defender and Kaskpersky. Good luck! Regards, |
