In the duration of two weeks the Clamwin gives everyday the follow report (after the corresponding alert):
<C>
<C>
<C>
<C>
<C>
<C>
<C>
<C>
Windows\System32\config\RegBack\DEFAULT>
C:\Windows\System32\config\RegBack\SAM>
C:\Windows\System32\config\RegBack\SECURITY>
C:\Windows\System32\config\RegBack\SOFTWARE>
C:\Windows\System32\config\RegBack\SYSTEM>
C:\Windows\System32\config\SAM>
C:\Windows\System32\config\SAM.LOG1: Permission denied
C:\Windows\System32\config\SECURITY: Permission denied
C:\Windows\System32\config\SECURITY.LOG1: Permission denied
C:\Windows\System32\config\SOFTWARE: Permission denied
C:\Windows\System32\config\SOFTWARE.LOG1: Permission denied

Because I check all these folders and there is no any problem, so I tried to insert these filters and deny the checking the folder "config"
The configuration that i made in the filter is:

<C:\Windows\System32\config\*.*>
<C:\Windows\System32\config\*>
<C:\Windows\System32\config\RegBack\*>

Althought i made these configuration the report stay the same as previous.Can you help me to make the wright configuration???

Try putting just one star for the detail--say C:\Windows\System32\config\RegBack\* that may be the proper way to do this.

I think that if you only scan one folder during a manual scan, ClamWin will ignore the filters. I think the filters are only for scheduled scans (I may be wrong on this, but I believe Alch told me this once).

Thanks for using ClamWin!

I have already done this configuration and didn't work. Generally the syntax to stop the filter to check a folder is c:/folder/folder/* or <c:/folder/folder/*> //Any better idea??

The only other idea I have is to just exclude the filename--such as filename.extension. That should work.

Anyone else--please feel free to jump in and help.
