So I cannot download the latest version from there, any alternates for now and the future in getting updates?

Did you try to download the latest ClamWin version from the ClamWin site at https://forums.clamwin.com/ on the web?
You might try https://sourceforge.net/projects/clamwin/files/clamwin/ but it is on Source Forge. It has all ClamWin versions.
Now the question is: why is Source Forge blocking you?
