some people might highlight the whole drive and scan it. I guess the solution needs to be more intelligent, let's say if there is no folder in the selection then ignore filters?

Ignoring the filters in the absence of a folder selection would be the best way to go then. I guess you always have to protect us users from ourselves, eh? Thanks!

Thanks for the enhancement. This feature will come in handy when ClamWin eventually attains on-access status. Small changes over time can result in increased functionality without major effort.

onacess version of clamwin is a total different stuff, written from scratch, it doesn't share code with current clamwin |

Too bad you'll have to scrap everything. I thought all you would have to do would be to replace the user selecting a file after a download and then right clicking on Explorer (no screen action unless a virus is found). Maybe that will get you by for a while.
I realize that things can get complicated if you have to deal with more than that, however. Regards, |
