Hello:
I have downloaded the most current version of ClamWin. For some reason, when i schedule a scan, it won't run. Any ideas?

Yes, my PC is on during the time that the scan is set to run.
There is nothing in my log about the scan.

Hello:
I was wondering if you had any more ideas about why this wouldn't be working. Thanks a bunch!

Is the ClamWin Tray Icon there ? (it should be, cause this application does the scheduling)

There are log files that will probably shed some more light. To get them do the following:
1. Schedule a scan to run in couple fo minutes form your current time.
2. don't open clamwin and go to you temp dir and locate clamwin1-4.log files and copy them somewhere
3. wait a little after scheduled scan time and get the same log files again.
Examine the log files and if you see anything interesting please post them here

I'm having the same issue. I created and activated scheduled jobs on various machines running Windows 2000/2003 Server. If I am logged into the box when the scan is supposed to run (via console or RDP), then it executes with no issues. If I'm logged out of the box, it never runs. No ClamWin or ClamScan log is being created in the latter case.

this is the expected behaviour. You need to be logged on with clamtray running for the scheduled scans to run

Thanks for the reply! Is there any tweak I can use to change this behavior? Or perhaps something I can execute via the command line (so that I can schedule a bat script to run nightly). We have numerous servers, and there is no way to have open sessions to all of them 24x7.
Thanks!

You've probably done this, but in the edit when you set up your scheduled scans, make sure that you have checked the box for "Activite This Schedule."
