Hi to all.
I am having an issue with the aforementioned version, I have been using clamwin on this VM for many years without an issues, in fact it is normally amazingly good at catching viruses anddealing with them with no visible impact on the machine.
Recently I updated to this version and the issue I am having is as follows : The daily scans are set to start at 03:30, but the scan is still running at 09:30 using up 250MB RAM and approx 45-50% CPU usage. The clamscan.exe has to be killed in order for the users to continue working (this machine runs terminal server).
Any suggestions are greatly welcomed.
TIA

I am not sure what the conditions are with ClamWin under a VM. My advice to you is try deleteing the daily scans currently schedualed and re-creating it. If that fails, try completely un-installing ClamWin, including removing left behind files, and re-installing it. If that fails, revert back to the last previous version and see if it still works. I don't think anyone has tested ClamWin under a VM for years now. Maybe you could join ClamWin beta testing and help improve ClamWin under VMs for us for future reference?
As for your ram and CPU usage, that usually depends on your system specs vs ClamWin's requirements. Having a old/weak processor will mean that the percentaged usage will be higher. If this is all recent after a update, I would assume that maybe something went wrong during the update installation. Try re-installing to see if that will help.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry, I hadn't put in enough info.
This VM has been running for many years with the same config. 4GB RAM 2 Processors of 3.2 GHz each. I have been using ClamWin for many years on this VM in this config. I think I will take your suggestion and roll back to the previous version, as when I updated to the new version I did a fresh install of ClamWin form the start.
Thanks for your suggestions and prompt reply.
