I have VMware Workstation 8.0.3 build 703057 with Windows XP Pro SP3
running as a virtual machine, and ClamAV detect file "VMwareTray.exe"
from VMware TOOLS as a virus/trojan like "Win.Trojan.Swrort-14429", is
it right ? Or ClamAV is wrong ?

Most likely a false positive. ClamAV has a few false positives in its engine. You can try uploading to virus total here: https://www.virustotal.com/ and see what happens there. Usually if only 1 or 2 engines pick up a threat, it's a false positive. You can also submit the false positive directly to ClamAV here: https://www.clamav.net/fp Be sure to include the virustotal results in your submission. Also, please note that ClamWin and ClamAV have no contact or support relations, so if you find an issue with ClamAV, you will need to report that over at ClamAV support here: https://www.clamav.net/contact.html Hope this helps your issue.
