What's the difference? What does the Clam AntiVirus Windows version (https://sourceforge.net/projects/clamav/files/clamav/win32/) actually provide? Why does ClaimWin exist if this is available?

The primary differences are support and access to developers. ClamWin was developed before Clam AV for Windows, and it has a GUI menu. The old Clam AV for Windows was run via command line and did not have a menu--I don't know about the new one. ClamWin supports older versions of Windows--as far back as Windows 98. You have access to the ClamWin developers and experienced users via this ClamWin forum. As far as I know, there is no support like that for Clam AV for Windows.
