I am actually kind of surprised to see so many bugs being fixed out in this version. Usually ClamAV is pretty stable and contains only minimal bugs.

ClamAV is making new main.cvd and daily.cvd files and will be released on March 12th-13th. The main benefit is that there will be more features and better management process.

The ClamAV signature maintenance is now complete. ClamAV mentions that if you had white listed signatures, you may need to redo them as many signatures were renamed in the process. Besides that, this new database work should help speed up the process of publishing signatures and should make it much easier to do these maintenance routines in the future more often.

Not entirely sure what ClamAV is asking, but it sounds like they want to make some feed program where users post their name, email and signatures there so they can report if your signature was a false positive to help reduce future false positives.
