Clam Sentinel Version 1.21 has been released. This version includes new and faster suspicious file detections, reduced false positive detections, network scanning support, a red mark on the system tray shield when system monitor heuristic detection is disabled, and support for new languages Azeri, Dutch, Indonesian, and Hindu.

Clam Sentinel is a free, open source program for users of Windows 98 and newer versions that lets them use ClamWin as a resident malware scanner when files are added, modified, or copied on their computer. It also includes heuristic detection for malware that does not have a ClamWin virus signature. Clam Sentinel can be downloaded at https://sourceforge.net/projects/clamsentinel/ on the web. Clam Sentinel is a separate project from ClamWin, but ClamWin must be installed first. New users should read the Simple Guide included in the Clam Sentinel installation package.
