Hello,
Is it possible to lock the parameters of Clamwin. Clamwin.conf is stored in program files and user profile. I would like clamwin uses by default stored in the program files, is this possible? I do not want that the user can change the settings. It will be used in business.
By somewhere else, you can start clamwin via the user system and not by the user himself?
Sincerely,

Lots of users want to be able to change the configuration, so that is why it is enabled. I'm not sure, but if the user does not have admin rights, he can not change anything--right? Also, could you put ClamWin on the network drive, and include user machines in the scheduled scan(s)?
ClamWin wasn't designed with network use in mind, which would require time/effort, and developers' time is limited, so it is primarily a standalone app. You are welcome to set it up the way you want, however, and submit your code to the developers so others can benefit from it. Just contact either alch/sherpya via the contact info on the main ClamWin web page.
Thanks for using ClamWin!

hello,
Users can change the configuration even if it is not an administrator. Clamwin copy clamwin.conf file (program files) in the user profile and therefore it has the rights to writing.
I'll look on my side, thank you.

I have to find the parameters of clamwin locked. I stumbled on an old post by ALCH:
https://forums.clamwin.com/viewtopic.php?p=981
=>
with standalone=1 clamwin will use and edit the conf file in clamwin\bin
with standalone=0 clamwin will copy the conf file from clamwin\bin to C:\Documents And Settngs\<username>\Application Data\.clamwin\clamwin.conf and edit it there
For those blocks.

Thanks for the info. I'm glad you found it. There is a lot of information in these forum postings, but it's sometimes hard to find.
