The daily signature database is composed of recent signatures for the last few months. They are periodically integrated into the much larger main signature database. Daily and main signatures consist of various file hashes and fragments of code or strings from infected files. The bytecode signatures are basically developed for complicated malware and use a subset of the C programming language.
