The scan report is just a report. You can set ClamWin's infected file preference to Report Only, Quarantine, or Delete. The default option is Report Only. You can change this to Quarantine by configuring the Infected File option under General Preferences to Quarantine. You should not use Delete--in case there is a false positive detection sometimes on an important file that you do not want to lose.
Also, if you have a Windows XP or older operating system (Win 98, etc.), you may want to keep the infected files option at report only. ClamWin has false positive protection on Windows system files for computers with newer operating systems (Vista & Windows 7), but this protection is not available for older operating systems. ClamWin does have a Restore from Quarantine capability, but you can lose access to your system if certain system files are quarantined.
If you are using the Clam Sentinel real-time front-end to ClamWin, you must configure ClamWin separately.

Let me repeat. The ClamWin infected file preference is set to Report Only by default. You can also change the preferrence to Remove or to Move To Quarantine. When ClamWin detects a virus, it will do whatever the infected file preference is. If you set it to Remove, it will remove the file with the virus from your system. If you set it to Quarantine, it will move the infected file to the ClamWin quarantine folder. If the infected file preference is set to Report Only, it will not do anything with the infected file but report it to you.
It is probably best to set the preference to quarantine. If the file turns out not to be infected (a false positive), you can use the ClamWin Quarantine Browser to restore the file. You can access the Quarantine Browser from Start, All Programs, ClamWin, Quarantine Browser.
You can verify infected files by locating them on your computer and uploading them to either the Jotti service or Virus Total service on the web. Either service will scan the file for you with multiple AVs. If several other AVs besides Clam say it is infected, it probably is infected.

Yes, ClamWin can only Report, Quarantine, or Remove a file. It can not Heal it. Healing capability would require much more code and qualified researchers. This is very difficult for a free antivirus with very little budget and part-time developers to do.
If you can keep a virus off your computer, however, there is no need for healing. Users who do not practice safe surfing are better off with a commercial product. Avast has a very good free version, but their commercial sales subsidize the free version.
The Clam Sentinel add-on (a separate project) enables users to scan with ClamWin in real-time and has a heuristic system monitor to detect malware for which there is no ClamWin signature.
