Hello Andrea and Guitarbob,

in the translation text file at sourceforge I have noticed the remark of version 1.16. Therefore I assume Andrea will release v1.16 soon? Would it be already available for "beta testing"? What are the bug fixes and new features here?

Please go ahead with the development of this nice piece of protection software. Was there already an offer from or to the Clamwin team to integrate Clam Sentinel into Clamwin? Are there any plans to release a 64Bit version of Clam Sentinel?

Andrea Russo of Italy is the developer of Clam Sentinel, and he is usually working on a new test version. He is currently testing the new version 1.16. I understand it will incorporate the ClamWin version .97 improvements, improve the Sentinel heuristics, and make it available in more languages.

I have not heard of any thought being given to incorporating Clam Sentinel directly into ClamWin. They are still two separate projects, but the developers are trying to coordinate with each other, since there is some duplication of code.

I suggest you contact Andrea: dynclient@users.sourceforge.net to inquire about beta testing. He has done a great job with ClamSentinel, but I think he is stretched pretty thin. Look for an improved version soon.

as Clamwin 0.97.2 is on the way (beta section), is a release of Clam Sentinel planned as well?

Hi freefighter,

Yes I am working with Bob on the new version 1.17.

August is not a good month for to release a new version and now we have also available some testers.

So soon I will send at the testers this new version and after a good feedback I will release it probably on September.

The news aren't big: some changes at the vxd for Win98SE, some bugs fixed, translations in Russian and Portuguese.
