I have one machine that keeps telling me I am up to date when I think I already am. I have 0.96.5 running with Clamwin 0.97 DB version Main 53 Daily 12864 Updated: 22:49 19 Mar 2011. This morning I was prompted to update with a newer version. When I run the update it tells me required version for the update is 0.96.5.0 and I have 0.97.0.0. It recommends that I download the full version and install it. I did that yesterday and again today Clamwin is telling me that I am not up to date. I am a little confused between the Clamwin version number and the ClamAV version number. Should my Clamwin version number be 0.97 after the update? And if so, why am I still showing 0.96.5? Thanks.

The latest version of ClamWin is version .97. The developers are on the same update cycle as the Clam AV scan engine used by ClamWin. Clam has the original update, and then shortly after that, the ClamWin developers come up with the Windows port for ClamWin. I have no idea why you are prompted to update the program. I suppose you could de-select the notice about new ClamWin updates. Be sure to keep the warning if database is out of date. You might try re-installing Version .97 and see if that helps.
