What setup are you using ClamWin on? What is your ClamWin version? Do you have administrator rights?
If you have set ClamWin's Preferences, General Tab, Infected File Option to Remove, it should work. Choose the Quarantine option and see what that does. Last suggestion: try a manual removal. See if you can upload the file in question to Virus Total at https://www.virustotal.com/ on the web for a scan with multiple AVs, including the Clam AV engine used by ClamWin. If you are unable to do that, something is wrong! Regards, |

Hi GuitarBob,
I appreciate your reply. I am using ClamWin Free Antivirus 0.96.5, dowloaded from the ClamWin site. I do have administrator rights. I will run another virus check; however I will check the quarantine box to see what happens, I will let you know. Best Regards, gigi |
