I'm running English XP SP2, clamwin version is 0.96.0.1

If codepage is set to USA English while right-click scanning files with Korean characters in filename I get this error (it puts '?' where Korean chars should be):

WARNING: Can't open file C:\FUTURE~1\image\image\???1.bmp: Invalid argument

If I set the default codepage to Korean, all files scan fine.

Incidentally, scanning the directory containing these files results in a hang without an error message when code page is set to English. Oh, and the files that fail are all relatively small and valid .bmp image files, but this is a filename issue not a content issue.

Here is the name of the file that fails above. I think you can rename any file to this and it will fail (it has Korean characters, hopefully you can cut and paste instead of messing with an IME):

판배경1.bmp

[[ Now that I have an error message, I was able to condense 2 huge posts down to this one... Smile ]]
