McAfee had a bad false positive on a Windows system file today. Read about it at https://www.computerworld.com/s/article/9175896/Flawed_McAfee_update_paralyzes_corporate_PCs?taxonomyId=17 on the web. The article mentions that Bitdefender and others have had similar problems on occasion. It happens to every AV now and then.

Hopefully, ClamWin false positives on important Windows systems files will not be a problem from now on. Users will receive a message in their scan reports that there is a false positive, but the file will not be quarantined. You should still report the file to Clam AV as a false positive, so they can fix it.

Regards,
