		| | | Hello,
i want to use ClamWin in a WindowsXP Network with several computers. I use the Firefox-Addon, for scanning downloads from www. But is there also an possibility to scan files, during copying from USB Pendrive to the local harddisk automatically?
 Thanks, Martin

		| | | You might look into the ClamSentinel front-end for ClamWin, which allows ClamWin to scan a hard drive in real-time, including USB drives. It does not provide as complete security as a kernel-mode scanner would, but it hooks important Windows APIs that are used by malware.
Please note that ClamSentinel is a separate project that is not connected with ClamWin. It was designed for older computers but works fine with XP and Vista (maybe Win 7 too). It is available at https://sourceforge.net/projects/clamsentinel/ on the web. There is a new version being tested that is much easier to configure than the present one.

 Regards,
