Hi All,

We are not able to have it up and running. Always 0% CPU usage, no disk activity and Scan progress (ang logs) always empty.

Any suggestion ?!?

what clamwin version?
what OS?
clean install or upgrade?

0.88.1 on Windows XP SP2
..and not install nor upgrade 'cause is the
"Portable version"...

did you follow all the steps from the guide?

specifically 3:

Quote:

Copy the following files:

* Microsoft.VC80.CRT.manifest
* msvcm80.dll
* msvcm80.dll
* msvcr80.dll

from "c:\program files\clamwin\bin\Microsoft.VC80.CRT" to the "clamwin\bin" folder on your removable drive.

You must have Microsoft.VC80.CRT folder with the files above on your portable 0.88.1 version under XP

I did not copied the files 'cause I did not find that "instruction" on the documentation
but I did it now and I have the same behaviour...

..nothing appears in the scan results (log too), no disk activity and 0% CPU usage...

What I suggest is that you follow the new user guide made for 0.88.1 from scratch or use the new protable clamwin released here:

Yes..the R2 Release is working fine without any manual modification.
