Worm in wextract.exe

Hi there,

this morning clamwin reported the following:

C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386\wextract.exe: Worm.P2P.Palevo-8 FOUND
C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386\wextract.exe: moved to 'D:\AntiVir\.clamwin\quarantine\wextract.exe.infected'

C:\WINDOWS\system32\wextract.exe: Worm.P2P.Palevo-8 FOUND
C:\WINDOWS\system32\wextract.exe: moved to 'D:\AntiVir\.clamwin\quarantine\wextract.exe.infected.000'


It's definitely a false positive. Does anybody else have this problem? What can I do now?

please report this to clam av at https://www.clamav.net/sendvirus/ on the web. you can upload the file and they will adjust their signature. be sure to tell the name of the false virus.
