Welcome to ClamWin! When Clamwin detects a virus, it can either report, remove, or quarantine the file with the virus, depending upon how the general infected file preference is set. it comes with a default to report, and you should leave it at that to prevent removing or quarantining an important file when it falsely detects a virus, as it ocasionally may have a false posiitive detection when it thinks a good file is "bad."
you should verify a virus before removing/quarantining a file. upload the file to jotti or virus total for a scan. if at least a handful of antivirus programs there verify the infection, you can manually remove the file from your machine or temporarily set the infected file preference to remove/quarantine and rescan the file or directory (reset back to report when through). don't ever remove a file from the windows directory without verifying a detection first!
