hello clamwin av users! Very Happy

i'm currently using an acer aspire 4736z laptop with windows vista as os. whenever i run clamwin av, it starts out well but eventually shows the following messages repeatedly:

LibClamAV Warning: cab_unstore: bytes < 0

what does this mean? is there anything that can be done to remedy the situation? any help will be greatly appreciated.

oh, and please explain it to me like i'm a 5 year old, since i'm not really that good with computer speak.

as near as i can tell, this is a minor bug that will be fixed when clam comes out with version .95.3. i have not heard when/if clam will do .95.3--as most of programming resources are geared to version .96, due in jan. or feb.

i get this message also, and nothing breaks. it seems to be related to windoews .cab files.

perhaps sherpya can enlighten us--i saw his post on a bug report.

regards,
