Report, Remove, Quarantine...what about ASK?

What good is reporting if I have a big nasty virus? Then again, I wouldn't trust the computer to delete things without asking me first.

In my eyes, adding a simple query dialog (ignore/remove/quarantine) would bring this program even closer to perfection (lack of Outlookless e-mail support aside).

What do you think?

How about start/don't start on startup (currently it must be disabled manually and no, there's nothing wrong with people not wanting it on startup...)?

There is actually. If clamtray.exe is not running you loose scheduled updates, new version checks, scheduled scans and tray notification messages. It is an essential part of clamwin

You see, that's why I stressed our right not to use it ("there's nothing wrong..."). You'll always have some people that would use this prorgam without the tray icon. This is an on demand program after all! I for one want to use it only via right clicking a file and via a download manager. So we remove the tray icon manually. Why not just letting us an easy option to do it?

because then users will disable and not know that the database is not updated or a scheduled scan did not run. With all respect to the users who know what they do adding this option may cause more damage then benefit if not used properly and therefore will nt be added.
