Hello,
I'm completely new to ClamAV
I am setting up ClamAV on one laptop located behind VLAN and I don't have the option to monitor result.
Still I need to know the result of the scan hence I decided to parse the log.
My question: what string should I expect if the scan revealed any suspicious activity ... like 'error' or 'fail' or 'infected' or etc.
Any suggestion what get into the log in case of infection?
Thanks

You mention Clam AV, which is an antivirus for Linux email servers. We are unable to help Clam AV Linux users here because these forums are for users of the ClamWin antivirus for Windows.

We can not help users with any version of Clam AV here. As I said, these forums are for users of ClamWin. If you are not running ClamWin downloaded from the website from which you accessed these forums, I suggest you contact the Clam AV developers.
