Some of the permissions could be denied if you are not scanning as administrator of the computer/network. You will normally have a few permission denied items during a complete scan, like hiberfile.sys and pagefile.sys, which are windows system management files in constant use. Sometimes permission can be denied if other files are in use by a program when you are scanning. Permission denied messages are not normally alarming.

Hello,
The 'permission denied' advise comes out when system files are locked by OS and Clawmin cannot access them. Check following following thread for more info:
https://forums.clamwin.com/viewtopic.php?t=1959&highlight=permission+denied
I you feel unsure about some particular file you can upload it to www.virustotal.com and verify if it is safe.

Hello,
I am testing right now the scans on my C: drive as well as one usb pendrive. The pendrive scan no permission denied issues. C: showed some permission denied files but not on every files scanned. All run as single user.
Can you post here a scan report so that community may provide some support?
