What's next? How do I get into the quarantine file to possibly dump what I definitely don't want? Or how do I get access to the infections that aren't in quarantine? Clamwin is a fine sleuth. better than AVAST 4.8. I used to use AVG7.5 but they dropped me on 4/30/09 because of my Windows Me OS. Will someone assist me. Many thanks, Clamwinners.

To remove the files in quarantine, using Windows Explorer, just manually go to your quarantine folder--the location can be found below the Move To Quarantine Folder option in ClamWin's General Preferences tab. Right click on each file and select Delete.
That white window could mean you still have an active infection somewhere. You might try going into Windows Safe Mode and then run another ClamWin scan and see if that helps. I don't know about your OS version, but in Windows XP and Vista, you can go into Safe Mode by restarting and hitting the F8 key every second or so until you get to a screen to tell Windows what you want to do in Safe Mode. Select normal, regular Safe Mode--not networking or anything fancy.
If that doesn't work, you might try Dr. Web's free Cureit program. It's a malware cleaner program, and you don't need to install it. I believe you can just run it from the web site. If you have to download it, just download it to your desktop and then just click on the desktop icon and run it. It is available at https://www.freedrweb.com/cureit/ on the web.
If that doesn't work for you, there are some other sources of help listed on the ClamWin Antimalware page accessable from the ClamWin main page on the web. The Malwarebytes Antimalware program listed is a very good malware cleaner, and Microsoft's Live One Care scanner has a good virus cleaning scanner also.
Good luck!
