we all no ventrilo the voice over ip software well it is safe and a year ago i decided to make it portable using thinstall or also known as vmware it is now detecting the one exe that ventrilo was compacted into as adware! WHY?
Is there some way it can be fixed?
i know it might have to due with how the program reacts that it might run like adware...

Upload a copy of the file to Clam AV at https://cgi.clamav.net/sendvirus.cgi on the Web. Indicate that Clam recognizes a false positive on this file and provide all the other information requested--including the virus that Clam falsely recognizes. They will fix it in a day or so.

Thinstall is commonly used by malware to pack their contents, so it is probably just a false positive. Follow Guitarbob's instructions to get it fixed.
