I hear WinClam Sucks it doesnt work at all is this true?

IT is good. but it is still a work in progress.

but keep in mind.


IT IS FREE.

Clamwin is not a rouge, if anyone says. It has good scanning and updates every day.

Hello robotman5alt,

I am using ClamWin since version 0.90 and always find it reliable and highly configurable. Project is hosted at Sourceforge.net and has been downloaded about 15 Million times by now. I think this counts something Very Happy

Last but not least, you get support and updates for free, that is not a bad deal.-

Anyway,as ClamWin is based on ClamAv engine have a look at https://www.clamav.net/about/who-use-clamav/. This could be a reassurance for your doubts.

Moreover, ClamWin in by now only an on demand scanner, that means you can use it besides a resident AV (so you can always get a doublecheck on a file you think is suspicious).
