First my setup: Clamwin 0.93.1 on Windows Vista Home Premium w/SP1

I have been having some difficulties with my scheduled virus scanning. I set clamwin to scan my C:\ drive once per week. When I sit down at my computer first thing in the morning after the scan, there is a bubble in the systray saying "An error occurred during schedule scan". The only entry in the log is:

Scan Started Thu Sep 04 02:30:01 2008
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*** Scanning Programs in Computer Memory ***
*** Memory Scan: using ToolHelp ***

*** Scanned 52 processes - 751 modules ***
*** Computer Memory Scan Completed ***

It used to show that followed by the rest of the details of the scan like how long it took and how many files/folders it scanned. I believe this failure began when I upgraded to the current version of clamwin. I have since uninstalled and reinstalled the application with no change in the behavior. I am, however, able to complete a manual scan of the C:\ drive.

The automatic updating is also not working (see https://forums.clamwin.com/viewtopic.php?p=8247 for details). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Make sure that you have activated your scheduled scan(s) in ClamWin's Scheduled Scans preferences. Similarly, make sure that you have set ClamWin's Internet Update preferences to enable automatic updates.

Version .94 (now in beta testing) will fix the update problem.

GuitarBob ->
Yes, all of that is correct.

I'm pasting the entire contents of %tmp%\ClamWin1.log. The first part is for the auto-update that isn't working correctly either.

Again, the scan aborted early. Thanks.
