Hi,
I started by asking a question about restoring files from quarantine to their original places (topic: https://forums.clamwin.com/viewtopic.php?t=1732 https://forums.clamwin.com/viewtopic.php?t=1732)
And it was suggested that I bring it up as a possible feature for the program in the future.
See, when you quarantine infected files, which is the setting most of us probably choose intuitively, important files that effect system start ups and other functions could end up in the quarantine folder. Without knowing it, I sent a lot of important program files to the quarantine and now have to sift through 2000 quarantined files to find the essentials and manual put them back in their places.
I think a feature that could put your files back for you would be good and make the whole virus scan way less painful.
Thanks for reading!

Since losing the Winlogon file (anyd, consequently, my system) to a false positive over a year ago, I have been using the Notify only option, and I think most people should use this. The scan report will tell you where an infection is on your computer, you can go there and upload it to Virus Total or Jotti for confirmation, and then manually delete the file if several other AVs on Virus Total or Jotti confirm the infection.
