What do you mean..?
Do you want to scan a file by uploading it to a site which scans it for viruses? Then you could use https://www.virustotal.com/ Just press the "Browse"-button and choose your file. Press "Open" and then the "Send"-button. Did you mean that or did you mean that you are a webmaster and want to be able to scan all the files which users uploads to your site by a uploadform? Or did you mean anything else? |

If you have configured ClamWin to integrate with Windows Explorer, just right click on the file and then select the option to scan with ClamWin before you send it.

In PHP, you can do like this: https://www.freefilehosting.org/public/13545/code.txt I'm uploading it to FreeFilehosting.org because phpBB won't let me post it here. ( Forbidden. You don't have permission to access /posting.php on this server. ) That should work. If you have a webhost that haven't ClamWin installed, you can always copy your clamscan.exe and libclamav.dll - together with the database files - to your website folder. They only use about 400 kB space. You don't need to echo the command out like in my example, of course, thats up to you what you want to do with it. By adding the parameter --remove you can get clamscan to remove the file automatically if you prefer that. |

Thanks for the code sample in PHP. Can you please send me the code sample to execute the similar kind of function in Java/JSP. As we are doing the fileupload process by using JSP. We need to check for the virus for upploading file( by using Browse field option) by using the clam antivirus tool. So we need to call the Clam execution command in JSP page to do the virus checking before uploading the file....
Thanks in advance... Sudarshan |
