How can I eliminate one of the two Clamwin icons on my taskbar now that I have downloaded and installed the latest version? Win2000 OS.

Most likely you installed one version for all users and another version just for you.
If you are comfortable with registry editing, you could remove one of the startup entries (Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run in either HKLM or HKCU).
