Hello !
I would to report some problems.
After the update to version 0.93, tonight i scanned all my pc and Clamwin has found:
WARNING: Can't open file c:\WINDOWS\WIN386.SWP, Permission denied

c:\WINDOWS\Installer\2ed23.msi: Adware.Agent-1566 FOUND

c:\WINDOWS\Installer\d02b6.msi: Adware.Agent-1566 FOUND

c:\WINDOWS\Installer\3b773.msi: Adware.Agent-1566 FOUND

c:\WINDOWS\Installer\ac5d3.msi: Adware.Agent-1566 FOUND

c:\Documenti\OperaUsb 9.24\opera924int.zip: Trojan.QQPass-737 FOUND

c:\software\opera924int\operausb.exe: Trojan.QQPass-737 FOUND

c:\software\opera924int (PROXY)\operausb.exe: Trojan.QQPass-737 FOUND

The question is that the 4 files in Windows\installer were of Active Virus Shield (old antivirus) Sad
The others 3 virus are of Operausb (Opera browser portable version) Sad
I think that's all a false positive.
Another worse problem is that clamwin don't send the files in C:\WINDOWS\Profiles\All Users\.clamwin\quarantine
I have checked the option "move to quarantine folder", but it contines to make just the report.
I have Windows 98.
I wait your answers.
Bye

Hello, above should be a file locked by OS when running, therefore this is a normal behaviour (see FAQ on website).

For the file found apparently containing malware submit them to
https://www.virustotal.com/it/
to verify if they are really malware (likely to be false positives).

For what concerns quarantine by default Clamwin set quarantined files on following path:
C:\Documents and settings\All users\.clamwin\quarantine

Pls check if you have such folder (I am running on XP, so I don't know if they have same paths) and if you can find the quarantined files there.
Hope this helps,

rgds

Sorry,
Didn't notice that the 'Quarantine' problem on Win98 had already been reported as a bug by Sherpya on another post.

I apologise.
