there is a small issue with printing "moved to quatrantine" message in 0.93 however it does move files correctly. Please check if eicar.com is still in it's original location or it has been moved after the scan.

No !
Clamwin doesn't move eicar.com in quarantine ! Maybe i understand ! I tryed to install Clamwin to laptop very old my girlfriend with win98 too. I did this experiment there too. Clamwin doesn't move eicar.com in quarantine folder. Then i think the problem is that clamwin 0.93 doesn't move the infected files in the quarantine folder on win98. The previous version worked perfectly. ![]() Bye Francesco bat |

Do you have Move to Quarantine checked on the ClamWin General Preferences Page? The install default is to Report Only--perhaps you need to check the Move to Quarantine box. Also, make sure the quarantine folder indicated below the check box is the same as what you have on the computer.

Yes !
I changed from "report only" to "move to quarantine folder" in the options, but after the scan it appear for 1 second the warning that the file has moved in quarantine, but really it doesn't goes in quarantine. I tried this on my pc with Win98 and on laptop my girlfriend with Win98. Bye Francesco bat P.S. the quarantine folder indicated below the check box is: C:\WINDOWS\Profiles\All Users\.clamwin\quarantine and it is the same as what i have on my pc. |

Quarantine works fine on my Windows XP machine, too. I wonder if the ClamWin quarantine code actually accomodates Windows 98 now or if it is set up only for XP/Vista.
