You have to manually remove infected files from ClamWin's Quarantine folder if you have selected Quarantine as your detection preference. If you choose Notify as your preference Clamwin does not move infected files, so you will have to remove infected files from their original location, which you can see from ClamWin's scan log.
You should not choose Remove as your detection preference--in case of a false positive. Also, before removing infected files, it's a good idea to scan them with other antiviruses to see what they say about the file. You can upload files to Virus Total or Jotti for a free scan with multiple antivirus programs. Regards, |
