Hey all
This question may have been asked before but I might as well ask it anyway.
Before you do a scan you get 3 options (in infected files)
-Report only
-Remove
-Move to quarantine
The simple questions/request is why not have this option at the END of the scan?
So just say 3 virus are found(see below)
Name |Level
------------------------------------------
Virus1.exe |High
Virus2.exe |med
Virus3.exe |low
------------------------------------------
Do you want to Delete the viruses?
------- -------- -------------------------
| Yes | | No | | send to quarantine |
------- -------- -------------------------
Would this be hard to do?
It would make things So much easier.

Some people (not me) don't want to have to do anything after a scan--they would rather have their antivirus program take care of everything. In my experience, this amounts to at least 50% of users.
You also need to consider that an infection may be a false positive, and there should be some allowance made to verify an infection. VirusTotal has an automated script that you can use to upload a file to them for scanning. For instance, in the event of a false positive in a Windows system file, you don't want to quarantine it--if you did, you would lose access to the system and have to restore everything (it happened to me and a few others with Windows logon last year).
