How can I use the context menu "Send To" item to select a bunch of files or folders and send them to a ClamWin shortcut and have it scan them?

Basically I need the proper command line parameters to add to a shortcut, but I don't know what parameters to use.

can you explain why do you need that if this functionality is already available?

yes. i don't like having right-click menus that are very long height-wise or width-wise. therefore i remove all the stuff various programs install on my context menus and keep it to a bare minimum. i put a few programs into the "send to" part like notepad, winrar etc.

99% of the time i right-click on something i will not be virus scanning it, therefore i don't want to look at it and have it take up vertical space on my main context menus.

I'm the same way. It's kind of annoying when every application you install has to have a shell extension, having noted that I think ClamWin's may be one of the more justifiable shellex's.

Anyway, I belive this thread will answer your question: https://forums.clamwin.com/viewtopic.php?t=1034
