I have had nothing but problems with commercial AV. They all come with a firewall. Clamwin dose not. Am I going to be ok with the Microsoft firewall? Also, I have a wireless card that runs through a cell phone system. I read where servers have a built in firewall. Do they cell phone systems have their own firewall? If I do need a fire wall what should I use? Thanks in advance.

A firewall protects you in a different manner than does antivirus software, so you do need both if you connect to the Web. If you practice "safe surfing" (no porn sites, no clicking on email files/links from unknown/unexpected parties, no cracked software/sites, no heavy ICQ/Messenger/P2P use), the Windows firewall is probably okay--and it's free and unobtrusive. It's as good as any other firewall in blocking inbound traffic. It doesn't block outbound traffic, but if you use both antivirus and antispyware software and update/scan with them frequently, they should stop malware from getting on your computer and "phoning home." An additional layer of security should be to configure your Windows Security Center to protect you from "exploits" by automatically downloading/installing the Windows security patches that Microsoft releases the second Tuesday of every month. As a final layer of security, if you use the Internet Explorer browser, set each of your four security zones to Default at least. FireFox is probably a more secure browser, although it needs occasional "patches" also.
If you want a free firewall that blocks both inbound and outbound traffic, look into the free Comodo Firewall Pro 3.0. It comes with a well mannered HIPS (host intrusion protection) that I still find a little intrusive, but you can "train" it. You should also get a real-time/on-access antivirus scanner and use Clamwin as backup until the version 1.0 real-time scanner becomes available. There has been no release date announced yet for version 1.0.
If you need an antispyware program, the Windows Defender software from Microsoft is free and scans in real-time, unlike most free antispyware. It's good byt not quite as good as the commercial antispyware, so if you use it, pair it with another free antispyware program like Spyware Blaster or Spybot Search and Destroy. Spyware Blaster is a good compliment because it specializes in browser protection.
Most physical (not virtual) servers will probably come with a firewall (either in a "black box" or software) if you get it from a reputable dealer. I don't know anything about cell phones, but I don't think they come with firewalls. Check with your cell phone provider/service.
