not sure why does it want to create temp files there but you can create folder C:\\Archivos de programa\\ClamWin\\bin\\temp_dir and the problem should go away

Hi,

I have the same problem with clamwin 0.92. When the user logs on, ClamTray generates the same error in clamtray.exe.log.

First Rule in our network: Users are not allowed (and prohibited) to write on the program disk C:, they can only write in their home directory on the file-server. The software we use for this is ILLUSION version 5.13.

To enable ClamWin to work, clamtray.exe, clamwin.exe and clamscan.exe are allowed to write on the entire disk c:\ This rule works ok.

When a user logs on for the first time, an error occurs. In the log of clamtray I see that there's a problem with clamwin1.log in the user profile (c:\Documents and Settings\'user'\Local Settings\temp\clamwin1.log). This location or file doesn't exist. I tested the location (c:\Documents and Settings\'user'\Local Settings\temp\) and the location exists and is writable. But the file is not available. Access rights for the location and the user are correct (administrator).

As this is the case for everyone who uses our PC's, it occurs always. I know that the default profile is correct, but I think Windows XP generates a new local Setting directory. So the clamwin1.log file is not available.

What can I do to avoid this error?
