I would like the option to disable the animated graphics that appears when scanning. I have two reasons for this request:

1) CPU time spent to animate - I would rather use to scan faster.

2) I often remote access (via VNC etc.) to do ClamAV scanning,
the animated graphic produces significant bandwidth and associated
cpu processing costs for no real benefit. (and increases processing
time significantly in this situation).

I believe others might have similar concerns.
I would be willing to beta-test any special build
with this option included.
