This problem has essentially rendered ClamWin unusable for me.

And it's the same blackness for all the other tabs as well.

Just some info, I'm using WindowBlinds with the FrescoBlack skin, so I think that may have something to do with the problem. None of my other programs have this problem, though.

Yes, this is version 0.92, freshly installed today. I click Help > About and it reports 0.92

was it a problem with earlier versions? please try 0.91.2 and let me know, we did some changes related to theme support in 0.92

Aha! Version 0.91.2's preferences are viewable/visible and do not suffer from the blackness.

it may be related by the theming support added in 0.92, but to be honest I don't use themes

Sherpya, do you have another GUI he could use? Seems like I saw something about a Sophos-style GUI on one of your Web sites.

bob, it's a "bare" gui, it launch clamscan executable with some predefined arguments then grabs the output and prints it in the window
I think there should be an api call to enable disable theming but I need to look at
as a workaround you can try to rip off the resource 24 (the manifest) from clamwin.exe
by using resource hacker

Removing resource 24 from clamwin.exe version 92 made the preferences window visible (and not black). This should be usable, thanks.
