Why do i get run time errors right after i have used the registry scan?
When I run the virsus scan, and it says I have 2 viruses, how do i know what they are, and that they have taken care of?

What sort of runtime message do you get after a registry scan? What are you scanning the registry with?
If you are using ClamWin, you can configure it (on the General tab) to Report viruses to you or to Quarantine them. There is a third option to Remove them, which you probably shouldn't use unless you really know what you are doing--because it could be a "false positive" and you don't want to remove an important file from your computer. Once in a while, an antivirus program will find a nonexistent virus in a file, which results in a "false positive." You can right click on the ClamWin icon in your system tray and select Configure.
If you choose Report, ClamWin will give you a report telling you what viruses were found and where they are on your computer--the directory and file name. You will have to use Windows Explorer to go to the directory and file and delete it if there is a virus.
If you choose Quarantine, ClamWin will put the infected file in its quarantine folder. On the General configuration tab below the Report/Remove/Quarantine option, you will see the location of the quarantine file on your computer. You will have to use Windows Explorer to go to the quarantine folder, open it up, and delete it if there is a virus.
Before doing any deleting, however, you should make sure there is a virus and not a false positive. You can do this by going to Jotti on the Web and uploading the file there where they will check it for free with several antivirus programs. If a couple of other AV programs find a virus, you probably have a real virus and can safely delete the file. You can find Jotti at https://virusscan.jotti.org/ on the Web. VirusTotal is another (larger) scanning service, and it is located at https://www.virustotal.com/ on the Web.
Make sure you update Clamwin before scanning.
