My question is very basic and should be easy enough to answer:
If I run Clam AV for linux on a live linux distrobution on a windows computer, when I scan the hard drive manually will Clam AV search for viruses that effect Windows also?

clamav signatures are for win32 viruses, you can use a linux live distro with clamav and you'll get same results as ClamWin
