Lastest version of ClamWin teamed up with hMailServer creating 6GB of temp files. they seem to be the updates that it downloads from the mothership for definitions, the database files. Should i make a task to remove these twice a day? Is there a fix in the next version!? Suggestions, this has caused hMailServer/SQL server to crash a couple times.. i never knew such a small program could make soo many large files.

any suggestions to the fix? thank you.

clamwin should clean files when the scan finishes/stopped, it's very strange it leaves this number of directories uncleaned
what's inside the directories, what kind of archives are you scanning?

as a workaround you can use ccleaner, a free utility that cleans tmp e other places,
as I see you are using a shareware program to check dir occupation,
do you ever tried winstatdir? it's opensource
