im new to clamwin, and i have just finished scanning all my files... clamwin detected a trojan.downloader, is there any way i can get rid of it?how? i can't find a way to delete the threat.... how does clamwin handle this kind of threats?

If you have configured ClamWin to quarantine malware, the file containing the malware will be in the quarantine directory, which is at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\.clamwin\quarantine on a Windows XP machine. ClamWin's default treatment for malware is just to notify you of the file in the scan report. You can then go to the file and delete it.
Click on the ClamWin system tray icon and select Configure ClamWin to set up preferences. There are several tabs so yo can configure it like you want.
I prefer to have ClamWin notify me of any malware because every once in a while any antivirus can have a "false positive" which is not really malware. To know for sure, you can upload a copy of the file to VirusTotal to see if any other antivirus programs there spot anything. If at least a couple of them do, it's probably not a false positive.
