I’ve noticed that Clamwin doesn’t run a virus scan (I created a scheduled scan for the entire C drive) unless the machine is fully �awake�… It seems that if the hard drive is asleep or even if the monitor is off on power suspend that Clamwin won’t run… it waits until you touch the machine in the morning and then it says �Scheduled activity will now run!�…



Do you know if there’s a setting somehow to tell it to bring the machine to whatever state it needs to be to run (force) the scan?

ClamWin can't scan files if other av program is running, because this other av locks the infected files and clamwin can't open them.

There is no other antivirus running on the box

Make sure that you have activated any ClamWin scan that you have scheduled--click on the "activate" button. If a scan has been activated, that scan's Activate button will not be lit up when you click on the scan in the Scheduled Scans configuration tab. Instead, the Deactivte button will be lit up.

That's about all I can suggest.

I am lost when it comes to trying to set up this virus scan. The schedule scan doesn't work automatically. I do not know what to do.
