yeah, i think all V-scan software need a pause and resume funtion. Plus this V-scan software seem to be the Slowest i've ever used. AVG and Norton securite 2006 was faster then this crap.

dj / sux: ClamWin started development in 2004 to put a graphical interface for Windows on the ClamAV Linux mail-server antivirus software engine. It has some limitations due to the original programming language in which it was developed. The present version is 0.91.1, and ClamWin is still beta software. Version 1.0 will consist of a complete rewrite in a version of the C programming language and will be more competitive with the commercial antivirus software. It is coming along, but it takes time to develop, and no release date has been announced. There are only two ClamWin developers, and they are part timers. Most of the commercial antivirus software companies have several hundred (at least) full-time, paid people working for them. Many of these companies have been around since the late 1980s. ClamAV/ClamWin haven't done too badly when you consider all this.

You have the opportunity to assist in development with your constructive criticism and any other assistance which you can provide. I am sure the developers consider all constructive suggestions/requests.

Regards,
